From the Himalayas to the Rockies

Tantra Yoga is one of the world’s oldest spiritual traditions. Originating in the shadow of the Himalayas, it has guided seekers for millennia in the expansion of consciousness and the realization of humanity’s highest potential.

While the word Tantra is sometimes misunderstood in the modern West, its authentic tradition is a comprehensive path of meditation, self-discipline, spiritual growth, and service to humanity.

Meet the Teacher

Dada Shiilabhadrananda has been a senior yoga and meditation monk of Ananda Marga since 1977. Over the decades, he has lived, taught, and served in more than 25 countries across five continents, sharing the practices and philosophy of Tantra Yoga with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

He has led month-long Yoga Instructor Training courses in Argentina, Thailand, Indonesia, South Africa, and South Korea. He also served as the global coordinator of Ananda Marga's ecological initiative, PCAP (Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Plants), promoting environmental awareness and compassionate living.

Dada Shiilabhadrananda is the author of Diet for Higher Consciousness, a book exploring the benefits of a vegetarian diet integrated with the holistic yogic lifestyle practiced in Ananda Marga.

Through decades of teaching, service, and spiritual practice, he continues to guide individuals in meditation, self-development, and the practical application of Tantra Yoga in daily life.

"The purpose of spiritual practice is to expand consciousness to experience bliss and express that awareness through service."
