Start with clarity

How to begin

If you are new to tantra yoga or meditation, this page explains what we practice, what to expect in class, and the simplest next step.

  • No prior experience required
  • Practical instruction and a respectful atmosphere
  • A clear scope: yoga, meditation, mantra, ethics, and service

What does “tantra” mean here?

In this tradition, tantra is a disciplined spiritual science: practical methods to expand awareness and bring harmony to life. The focus is meditation, mantra, ethical living, and service.

Important: this is not sexual instruction or therapy. Classes and 1:1 sessions are practice-focused and professionally bounded.

Simple definition

Tantra yoga = methods to transform the mind and express compassion through action—self-realization supported by social service.

What to expect in an intro class

A typical session is structured, calm, and accessible.

1) Grounding + intention

Brief context, posture setup, and a clear objective for the session.

2) Practice

Meditation instruction (and sometimes breath, mantra, or gentle yoga) taught step-by-step.

3) Integration

Questions, next-step guidance, and how to practice safely between classes.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothing and a willingness to try. If you have a cushion, bring it; otherwise a chair is fine.

  • Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing
  • Arrive 5–10 minutes early if possible
  • If you have injuries or concerns, mention them beforehand

If you feel anxious or skeptical

That is common. The approach is practical: you’ll receive clear instructions and can move at your own pace. No one is pressured to adopt beliefs—only to test a method.

Your next step

Attend one class, then decide if you want a steady weekly rhythm.
